Who we are

Established in 1984, Rock River Training Corporation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit agency that helps people reach their employment goals through resources provided under the Workforce Investment Act (WIA).  This includes job search assistance, resume writing, and payment for school and books to name a few services. Rock River Training Corporation is the local administrator for programs offered through and funded by the Workforce Investment Act. We do not function as a temporary employment agency. However, we are committed to helping people find substantial employment through job training and employment assistance programs.

Rock River Training Corporation, Inc. is one of three agencies that make up the One Stop Operator consortium. The consortium also includes Rock Valley College and the Illinois Department of Employment Security. We are located in The Workforce Connection Center, 303 N. Main Street, Rockford, IL 61101. We operate a satellite office located in Logan Square, 998 Belvidere Road, Suite 7, Belvidere, IL 61008.

There are approximately 55 Illinois WorkNet Centers statewide.  Our offices located in Rockford and Belvidere, Illinois provide services to the residents of both Boone and Winnebago Counties. You can contact us at the following locations:
